Matrix is pleased to exhibit the Apollo and the Morpheus machines duplicating actual production speeds with accoutrements simulating a production environment for Pack Expo 2015. Both these machines are engineered to run at very high speeds; the Apollo maxing out at 180/min – the fastest intermittent bagger available in today’s marketplace. The Morpheus machine, which comes standard with vacuum belts and continuous motion jaw can run speeds of up to 200/min. Both machines will be exhibited with Ei3 Enabled or WebRMS remote monitoring software capable of taking communication and trouble-shooting to the next level of security. Matrix is combining both our stellar mechanical knowledge with state-of-the-art software, to showcase two systems capable of revolutionizing the packaging industry.
Inever offers a new solution for packaging sachets of salad dressings and other pasty liquids. The new Inever MVC series utilizes the latest motion control technology to ensure speed, accuracy, and quality to overcome the difficult packaging job of filling sachets with thick, pasty liquids at high speeds. Utilizing servo motion control and a new way to fill and seal sachets ensures accuracy and efficiency. The MVC uses a combination of continuous film motion with an intermittent sealing process to achieve a high rate of production – up to 1,000 sachets a minute. The MVC seals the packets on all four sides. This sealing method ensures package integrity. MVC series machines use high quality films of up to 100 microns thick, providing a superior print surface for eye-catching graphics.
A new option for 1.4 and 1.7 FLtecnics horizontal form-fill-seal pouch machines form top or corner spout pouches from the same applicator – a new patented process – and are rated at up to 85 pouches per minute. The new option for the 1.4 for smaller pouches and the 1.7 for larger delivers significant savings to in-house packaging operations and co-packers because one flexible machine is capable of packaging so many different items in various pouches: liquids or dry products packaged in zippered, top or corner spout, flat, stand up, and/or shaped pouches. These machines utilize one piece spouts with child choke-proof caps. The series is available in an ultra-clean configuration.
The Toyo Jidoki TX-100SP1 is double spout inserting machine that automatically loads pouches and inserts spouts. Completed spout pouches are transferred to filling system such as TT-15CW-10, or discharged for later use. The TX-100SP1 boasts a highly precise spout positioning system with a 3-stage seal and single-stage cool stations for high quality spout/pouch sealing. Optional vacuum decay leak detection and machine vision spout alignment verification systems are available. The TX-100SP1 provides a significant cost reduction in pouch production and shipping costs.
