Case Study: vertical packaging manufacturer develops produce packaging solutionAug 02, 2012
Matrix was recently featured in the August 2012 issue of Food & Beverage Packaging magazine showcasing their vertical form fill seal system developed in collaboration with Volm Companies for Bybee Produce, a premium grower, packer and shipper of onions.
Volm Companies, Inc. recognized that partnering with a leader in vertical form-fill-seal packaging equipment would enable it to develop an innovative automated solution for its customers’ needs for high-speed fresh produce packaging.
The company collaborated with Matrix Packaging Machinery to develop a vertical form-fill-seal solution that would enable its customers to eliminate former labor-intensive mesh fabric packaging methods and double their packaging speed.
Rugged, cost competitive, and easy-to-use, Matrix packaging systems include vertical form fill seal equipment for all types of flexible packaging, as well as INV PACK stickpack and sachet machines, Toyo Jidoki pre-made pouch machines, and FLtècnics rollstock pouch machines. As part of the ProMach Flexibles business line, Matrix helps our packaging customers protect and grow the reputation and trust of their consumers.
