'Crisper' snack packaging performance
Mar 19, 2008Matrix was recently featured in the March 2008 issue of Packaging World magazine showcasing their vertical form fill seal system for Better Made Snack Foods, a producer of potato chips, potato sticks, and popcorn in a variety of flavors and package sizes for distribution through convenience stores, supermarkets, and club stores. With a projected two-year ROI, the new popcorn bagging machine runs faster and reduces packaging material waste.

Key features of the system include a color touchscreen interface, Allen-Bradley PLC controller, servo pneumatic heat seal jaw control, and programmable sealing temperatures.
