From a Fully Operational Packaging Line to Packaging Machine Demonstrations, Matrix is a Must-See Attraction at PACK EXPO 2021
Aug 18, 2021SAUKVILLE, Wis., August 18, 2021 – Matrix is packing quite a bit of activity this year in booth C-2829 at PACK EXPO 2021 – including a live demonstration of a fully integrated mini-packaging line with other ProMach brands. It is really going to be something to see!
Highlighting the integrated packaging line is a Matrix Morpheus Vertical Form Fill Seal Machine that will be filling pillow bags of mints. The line co-stars a Matrix EC-E Checkweigher that will perform a final weight check of the bags. This integrated line demonstrates the ease of how ProMach brands collaborate to effectively bring packaging projects of all sizes to fruition.
In addition to the integrated packaging line, Matrix is showcasing several other packaging solutions.
Bag-in-Bag
The Bag-in-Bagvertical form fill seal machine is designed for filling and packaging product into a pillow bag then dropping one or more products in a master bag. Featuring quick changeovers and setups, the Bag-in-Bag machine can produce up to 100 bags per minute. The machine can also fill pillow bags and bypass the lower section of the machine when a master bag is not necessary for specific production runs. Matrix has paired the bag-in-bag with a Spee-Dee cup filler and will be packaging candy.
Mercury
The MatrixMercury is a high-speed vertical form fill seal bagger that’s capable of filling up to 140 bags per minute. The Mercury is known for its easy operation and quick changeover and setup. It can accommodate bag widths between 2.5” and 11”, and bag lengths between 3” and 15”. The Mercury is a great cost-effective packaging solution as it features a small footprint, stainless-steel frame, automatic film tracking, a registered film sensor and more.
Elete Premier
The Elete Premiervertical form fill seal machine is ideal for customers who require more hygienic attributes in their packaging machine. The Elete Premier features a stainless steel, sanitary design with all major components, including fasteners, bearings, shafts, and motors suitable for washdown environments. The machine can produce several different bag sizes, such as pillow, gusset, quad, and flat bottom with a variety of films, including recyclable, at filling rates up to 120 bags per minute.
Pacraft (formerly known as Toyo Jidoki)
The Pacraft TT-8D-Npre-made pouch filler/sealer is designed for a wide variety of packaging applications. Its pouch formats and product types including flat, stand-up, retort and press-to-close pouch styles. It can seal up to 55 pouches per minute; pouch sizes range from 4.72” to 10.23” (120 - 260mm), lengths from 5.11” to 15.74” (130 – 400mm).
INVpack MVA3 EVO
The MVA3 EVO sachet form fill seal machine from INVpack is designed for small to medium production runs that require high-quality sealings for liquids, powders, granulates and pasty products. Output ranges from 70 sachets per minute for a single-lane operation, and up to 280 per minute with four lanes.
FLtècnics 3.2
FLtècnics has led the development of horizontal form fill seal rollstock pouch technology for both carousel and walking beam styles. PACK EXPO attendees will see the FLtècnics 3.2 king size carousel rollstock pouch machine, which is designed to produce large-format size pouches. The carousel uses a specialized gripper system that does not release the pouches during the filling process, enabling it to support heavy weight.
