Matrix Brings to Expo Pack Mexico Its Top Selling Unit – the Orion VFFS Bagger

Matrix Packaging Machinery, powered by ProMach, will feature the Orion, the company’s top selling vertical form-fill-seal machine, at Centro Banamex during Expo Pack Mexico City, June 16-19. Orion delivers high productivity and low overall cost of operation in an exceptionally easy to use and maintain fully automated packaging machine. (Matrix Booth # 1916)
Orion
The Orion forms, fills, and seals up to 90 bags per minute. Bag sizes range from 2-3 inches (51-76 mm) to 11-15.5 inches (280-394 mm). Orion standard features include color touch screen operator panel, Spanish/English bilingual operator interface, and an Allen Bradley MicroLogix PLC control system. Compared to other machines, the Orion has a small footprint, which helps to conserve valuable floor space.
Each Orion offers automatic edge guide film tracking, short travel, and angled incline film upwind, each of which contributes to precise film movement and trouble free operation. Tool-free quick-change core chucks help to ensure fast changeover between jobs. These units can be used with a wide range of fillers to ensure optimum performance for the application and to accommodate customer preferences. Matrix engineering achieves low overall cost of operation in terms of consumables.
Toyo Jidoki TT-8D-N
The Toyo Jidoki TT-8D-N pre-made pouch fill and seal machine is designed for stand-up, flat bottom, and fifth-panel style bags. This newly designed machine incorporates Toyo Jidoki’s proven technology with flexibility for shaped pouches to meet changing presentations in the marketplace. The
TT-8D-N pre-made pouch filler sealer is rated at up to 55 flat, standup, and press-to-close pouches per minute. Pouch sizes range from 4.7-10.2 inches (119-259 mm) wide to 5.1-15.7 inches (129-398 mm) long. The machine is easy to clean and wash-down. Options and accessories include:
