Bill, a field service engineer at Matrix Packaging with 24 years of experience in the flexible packaging industry, introduces the company’s vertical form-fill-seal machines. These U.S.-made machines can produce various bag sizes, from 2.75 inches to 18 inches wide and up to 23 inches or more in length.

Matrix emphasizes long-term customer support, offering an in-house parts department and a large service team across the U.S., along with ongoing sales support. The company serves industries including food, beverage, bakery, candy, coffee, tea, disinfectants, cold chain, dried meats, IQF, pet foods, pharmaceuticals, nutraceuticals, and snacks.

Demonstration of INVPack Machines:

1. MBA 3 Sachet Machine:

   • A vertical form-fill-seal machine running sachets in up to four lanes.

   • Available in widths of 300, 900, or 1200 millimeters, and can run up to 15 lanes.

2. BY3 Stick Pack Machine:

   • Automatic film centering, touch screen controls, and various printer options.

   • A five-lane stick pack machine with servo-driven jaws.

   • Includes a counting and indexing case system for efficient packaging.

3. BY3 for Pharma Market:

   • Demonstrated with both powder and liquid fillers.

   • Features automatic alignment for the unwind system, room for two printers, and servo-driven jaws.

   • Fillers can be swapped quickly, and a splicing table simplifies roll changes.

4. PH 6 Pharma Model:

   • Includes laser coding, camera verification, servo pulling and sealing, and an auger filler.

   • Positive handling transfers pouches to a checkweigher, with rejected pouches directed aside.

   • Easy maintenance and cleaning with a movable outfeed conveyor.

5. MBA 12 Sachet Machine:

   • Designed for sauces, with touch screen control, inkjet printing, and clean-in-place capabilities.

   • Advances film through nip rollers, creates vertical seals, and opens for easy cleaning.
