Matrix Offers Flexibility with Morpheus Series

Experience faster speeds and greater accuracy with the new Morpheus continuous box motion bagger from Matrix Packaging Machinery. Unlike traditional intermittent designs, the Morpheus uses a continuous motion high-speed system with a unique modular vertical seal jaw design, allowing the film to keep moving while creating and sealing each bag. This results in higher speeds, up to 100 bags per minute, and the ability to handle films requiring longer dwell times, such as laminates.
Matrix collaborated with Spee-Dee Packaging Machinery to help CyberSpace Coffee improve line speed and fill accuracy. By integrating the Morpheus bagger with a Spee-Dee servo-driven auger filler, the system ensures consistent film feeding and achieves accuracy within +/- 1 percent of the target weight.
The Morpheus also offers quick changeovers and accommodates a wide range of bag types, from pillow to gusseted styles. It features a backup Allen-Bradley control system with an intuitive touchscreen interface for easy programming.
